We know that how much you loved your first gen Motorola Moto X. And you must be feel proud to know that Motorola is pushing an update to their first gen Moto X to fix the stagefright bug. So guys Motorola is still supporting Moto X 1st gen device.
Today users of Motorola’s original flagship device, Moto X 1st Gen users were surprised to see another update. The new software update for Moto X (1st Gen.) is pushed to fix the Stagefright virus. Motorola says that this update also brings some important security and stability improvements to your phone.
In July, Stagefright bug was discovered in the Android OS that could let hijackers access data on up to a billion phones. Manufacturers have been slow to roll out a fix because many variations of Android are widely used. One Android expert said it was “about time” phone makers issued security fixes more quickly.

Instructions To update your Phone:
For a successful installation, we recommend installing this update when the battery in your phone is at least 50% charged and you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
If you have received a notification message for this update:
- Select “Yes, I’m in”.
- After the software is downloaded, select the prompt to install it.
- After the software is installed, your phone will restart automatically.
- Your phone is now updated.
If you have not received a notification message for this update, follow the steps below to manually update your phone:
- Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
- Select “About phone”.
- Select “System updates”.
- Follow the steps above to download and install the update.
