Skype for Android is getting an update today bringing you new ways to express yourself. Other than usual improvements Skype for Android will now let you set personalized ringtones. This option was previously available in Skype back in 2001. You can set custom ringtones or incoming call sounds for a contact by selecting a ringtone from your device. In a conversation, tap the lower right and select “Ringtone options” then “Set custom ringtone”.

Now you can also share photos from chats with other Skype friends and family who may not be in the conversation. Just tap and hold on the photo you want to share and select “Forward photo”.  Skype’s also gone and changed avatar colors in group chats to help tell various groups of people apart.
