Google I/O 2015 starts tomorrow, And you must be reading a lot of stories about the topics Google is going to discuss in the I/O. We are going to summarise all these topics for you so that you all people know that what are the predictions and what to expect tomorrow. For live coverage of Google I/O You can head up to our “Google I/O 2015 Live” page.
Android M
Get ready for the new Android version announcement. Some days ago Google accidentally revealed the codename of upcoming Android that was “Android M”. but after sometime Google guys removed the codename from the site. But we hope that Google’s new Android is Android M and it is not gonna be too surprising like Windows skipped Windows 9 directly to Windows 10. Now the rumor is all about the M standings. The new thing you’ll get tomorrow is the sweet name on which Android M is based on. In the mean time you can vote for your favourite M sweet here.
The New Cardboard
Google wanted you to experience the virtual reality in a simple manner through Google Cardboard but many other tech giants are gone further ahead from this simple cardboard thing like Microsoft’s HoloLens and Facebook’s Oculus VR. Google maybe is designing a new VR Product to take a further step in VR market. The company has committed to producing another version of Google Glass too. So get ready for the new cardboard, Google Glass 2, or an entirely new Glass SDK for VR.
Some New Wearable
Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects Group (ATAP) teased “wearables that we hope will blow your socks off” in a deliberately cryptic preview of its Google I/O session. That sounds significant. Tomorrow Google may introduce a brand new wearable. May be shirt, socks, a shoe or a new Moto 360. The round shaped Huawei watch that was announced last month may also come out tomorrow for sale. Who know exactly but it is very much likely that tomorrow we’ll see a new wearable.
Android Pay
People are already buying through Apple pay in the sky. Google wallet is there but not as much popular than Apple Pay. Google was working too hard to make Google wallet secure, safer and popular. We expect to hear more about Google’s grand vision for taking on the wallet at I/O.
New Chromebook
Apple announced a new MacBook in the Apple Event. Tomorrow we are expecting a brand new chromebook with more efficiency in software and a better hardware. You’ll also experience the ways to use Android and Chrome devices seamlessly.
New Nexus
We are expecting addition in Nexus series with two Nexus devices this year, one made by LG and another by Huawei. Some rumors indicated that LG is making a 5.2-inch Nexus phone. Get ready for two new nexus phones.
Project Fi
Google announced project FI and we are hoping that Google I/O is the best platform to discuss its advantages and features. Tomorrow Google is going to market its wireless network as “Pay Only For What You Use”.
Live Imagery
There’s a session at Google I/O titled “The Earth in Real Time,” at which the company intends to discuss Skybox, a satellite imagery company acquired last year. It’s too soon for Street View Live (and with luck, we’ll never see Google cameras watching everything in real-time), but Google may be ready to make live video feeds of certain areas available to corporate clients, perhaps through Google Earth Enterprise.
App Permission Controls
Google is going to give more control over the permissions that you provide during app installation. In basic terms, this could mean that you could hand-pick which permissions you give an app as you install it. We are expecting this feature in Android M.
These are the topics for Google I/O 2015 that you are going to expect tomorrow. Stay tuned for more. For live coverage of Google I/O You can head up to our “Google I/O 2015 Live” page.
